
Our goal is for each guest to have the freedom to enjoy the property and lake front without either irritants and excess costs.
Guests are to leave the property as they found it. This means returning furniture to its original place, dishes washed and placed in either the drying rack or put away, appliances wiped clean, all trash bagged and put in the property trash cans by behind the shed, the exterior chairs in their fire-pit place and your cottage's area free of debris. Charges, as posted in the downloadable documents, will be imposed for violations.
While we want everyone to enjoy the property. If you have not rented all three properties, please keep noise and late hour activities respectful to the other guests. There are to be no outside guest parties if you have not rented all three cottages. If unsure about other guest expectations, ask them.
Dock Slips are assigned to each Cottage and marked. One slip is assigned to the owner. If not occupied, that slip may be used for visitors. Docks are rated and State regulated for TWO boats only. Shore Haven Cottages assumes no liability for dock use and/or damage to boats.
There is an added rental fee for pets because increased cleaning and wear. This does not waive any responsibility for owners to clean up after their pets on the property, its furnishings, and elsewhere. Additional fees may be imposed for excess cleaning, poop clean-up and/or neighbor complaints.
Dock and water use is at the risk of each guest and renter. There is an assumption of risk for you. your guests and, in particular, children to maintain safe practices and supervision. Shore Haven Cottages assumes no responsibility for any injury or life loss from water access, dock use, swimming and boating.
The pavilion rents exclusively with Cottage 1 because it sits in that cottages space. If you have not rented Cottage 1, that facility is not available to you for your stay even if Cottage 1 is not rented and empty.
ALL FISH PREP is to be completed at the table and station noted on the map. Fish guts are to be bagged in zip lock bags and frozen in either the cottage freezer or the public freezer located next to the shed.
All guts are to be discarded by the renter in the community trash cans located behind the shed.
Accidents do happen, please report any damage and/or breakage to the property owner to ensure next guest comfort and safety. Adherence to this keeps our costs low; savings that we can pass on to our guests.
